Making Cingular 1.43 unbranded: is it possible?

Ive downloaded Cingular 1.43 as well 1.25 generic rom. Is it possible to use the .opr file with 1.43 to make it a generic unbranded rom?

I have 1.360 and i didnt noticed any bugs... but i wanted to increase stability and performance like it was noticed with the 1.43.

Yep you can mix the 1.25 opr with 1.43 cingular and get a very good generic rom

mixing is a possiblity but the results can be mixed...for me, my phone was more unstable when mixing opr files. others have reported positive results.

I had very good results. You just cant mix files from western/european roms with asin roms and vice-versa.

Have had no problems till now.

Just change the opr file, so you use an unbranded .opr from 1.25 ROM

I guess the speaker volume problem correction is on the 1.43 .opr file, so.. guess you wont be able to correct this one.

Now I have Portuguese (Brasilian) language 1.43 ROM in a MPx220 for SIM locked for portuguese Optimus.

I have the same locked optimus phone ;)

But i dont notice any volume problems... even on the rom that came with the phone i hear ok...

I tried 143 rom and it won't work with my orange sim, but works fine with my t-mobile sim. The phone is not sim locked and is used exclusively with the orange sim normally. The asian rom works fine with the orange chip, but i don't like the asian logos, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what's causing this?

I have a mpx 220 with 1.43 english only rom. Can you help me to include Portugues(Brasilian) language on it ? If yes, please send me location of files and programs i need to do this ! Thanks in advance.
