PPC -> C500 -> GPRS (Anyone do this?)

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I wonder if anyone here is using a PocketPC AND a Windows Smartphone AND O2 in the UK and are able to tell me what to put where to get the PocketPC to connect to the internet via the GPRS connection on the phone.

I have an SPV-C500 and a Dell Axim X50v (Windows Mobile 2003SE) so if anyone out there is using something similar and has the settings, I'd be eternally grateful.

I have a SPV-C500 (QTEK firmware) on Vodafone IE and a Fujitsu Siemens Loox 720 and it works well.

I dial *99# and use +CGDCONT=1,"IP","isp.vodafone.ie" in modem additional settings

O2 IE APN is "internet" and login is grps, password gprs

I don't know what O2 UK use, however google should find it for you

GOD, I had this before, I've got an x50v and a SMT5600 with cingular, and today I just flashed my axim with the newest ROM, and when I set my GPRS settings I remembered what a bitch it was to set this up the first time.

Heres what I'm doing:

Number: *99#

User name: WAP.CINGULARGPRS.COM

Password: CINGULAR1

Dial String: +CGDCONT=1,"IP","WAP.CINGULAR"

All other settings default, such as 19200, check on wait for dial tone, all TCP/IP defaults... ugggggggh.

If anyone knows what i'm doing wrong any help would be greatly appreciated

Same problem, x50 +5600 + Cingular = pain in the rear...

I had it all working before flashing the x50 with the new rom...
