Guest Resendiz Posted June 21, 2005 Report Posted June 21, 2005 http://www.imei-check.co.uk/c500unlock.php ;) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ThanksJamma i actually found it just before you post it it, now the next question is, what is an IMEI??? and it ask about 15 numbers? will the program tell me how to do everything step by step? (note i dont have the locked phone with me yet) Sorry im not that good with computers yet
Guest Jamma14 Posted June 21, 2005 Report Posted June 21, 2005 When you have the phone, switch it on and type in "*#06#" and it will pop up a message displaying the IMEI number. Alternatively, you can look at the label under the battery of the phone where it will also be displayed. Like it says if there is an imei on the box the phone comes in do not use it as the box might've orginally been for a different phone. Whatever method you use, (maybe both would be a good idea to check) you then take the first 15 digits and enter them on the imeicheck page, and follow the instructions. Make sure you give them the right IMEI, double check and triple check it so that you are paying your $38 for something that will actually unlock the phone. Hope that helps.
