Guest stevem999 Posted June 21, 2005 Report Posted June 21, 2005 Apologies for the cross post - can anyone assist - there has been a development since my last post. Here's the original: Hi there, just got a new MPX220 from Vodafone Uk (finally!) - just unwrapped it and the battery is in a cardboard cover with the Moto hologram, serial number etc. The cover has cutouts for the terminals etc and I'm wondering if this cover needs to be removed or if it is part of the battery itself? Anyone had a new Moto that knows? Cheers I have now had a response on another forum to say that it's an integral part of the battery and stays on, however Motorola e-mailed to say that it is 'safety packaging' and should be removed! Has anyone had a new MPX220 recently, and what have you done with your battery? Cheers all.
Guest zen123 Posted June 21, 2005 Report Posted June 21, 2005 Mine didn't have any cardboard cutout. It was in a small bubble bag which was sealed with a sticker with the serial #.
