Guest celica1.8st Posted June 21, 2005 Report Posted June 21, 2005 (edited) I found a program which lets you use your Pocket PC as a USB Mass Storage Device. This means you should be able to view your Storage Card as a standard drive in Windows Explorer. It costs $14.95 from http://www.softick.com/pocket-pc/cardexport2/. [Edit by Paul: I have already spoken to softick about supporting Windows Powered Smartphones, and they say it is their ultimate goal. If you find your Pocket PC device doesn't work, do contact support, and help them get it working! ;)] Edited June 22, 2005 by celica1.8st
Guest PayableOnDeath Posted June 21, 2005 Report Posted June 21, 2005 erm think you should change the title as its a Pocket PC app not a smart phone app ;) Hope they do it for the smart phone :D looks a nice little app
Guest celica1.8st Posted June 21, 2005 Report Posted June 21, 2005 Changed - I realised afterwards, but didn't realise I could change the title! Thanks for letting me know - would be good for smartphone
Guest Tunney Posted June 22, 2005 Report Posted June 22, 2005 I assume that this kind of functionality will be in WM5? If it's not, transferring data to the Samsung i300's HD is going to be sloooooow.
Guest spidermunky Posted June 22, 2005 Report Posted June 22, 2005 (edited) I've been using the demo of this app for the last couple of days on my Qtek s100 and I have to say, it's pretty nifty. I've got Portable Firefox on it so now I don't have to use IE at work anymore and I can download podcasts when I'm on my lunch. Oh, and it means my phone is nicely charged up at all times too. ;) Give it a go. Greg Edited June 22, 2005 by spidermunky
