Guest Confused Stu Posted June 21, 2005 Report Posted June 21, 2005 Transform's instructions work fine if you're receiving a file, but to send a file you can use the File Manager program in "Accessories" - I think. But the MUCH better option is to get your phone unlocked, then go to www.binarys.com and download Smartexplorer v2. This lovely little program makes sending files by Bluetooth or IR really, really easy. Plus it's a virtual essential for any phone - get it (and Task Manager from the same people while you're there!) Just tried an old mini-USB lead that I got with my Digital Camera years ago - yup, Activesync likes it just fine! With the phone in the shops you get a tiny MiniSD card with a few not-very-useful programs on it, a wall charger, a mini-USB lead and a CD containing Activesync and Outlook. You need Activesync and Outlook!! Mini-USB leads you can pick up anywhere and get the biggest MiniSD you can afford (at least 256Mb or you won't even be able to watch one whole film on your phone!). ;) On one of the forums here there a topic "stickied" to the top called "First 48hrs with a Smartphone" - it really is a very good idea to read it because alone it'll take you over a year to see 50% of the things your phone can do! :D Welcome to the forum dude!
Guest Transform Posted June 21, 2005 Report Posted June 21, 2005 oh yea i forgot to mention about smart explorer. one of the best apps to have. im still getting used to bluetooth on my c500. its all new to me!
