Guest Paul [MVP] Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 THIS is amazing! (Thanks to David from SmartGamer for hooking me up - check out his site!) Here are some screenshots I've taken from my SPV (first one is just to prove it's really an SPV!) I have the nearly finished beta, and it really is that good! Guest Lojt Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 Any chance they need more beta testers? ;)
Guest th0mz Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 wow, gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme! ;)
Guest DJHope Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 Yeh looks nice, and paul has become a beta tester now, dont think that would have ever happened if cert wasnt removed, this can only do the software good ;)
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 Yep. I am also testing a few other apps (e.g. Jabber CE). Yay for no certification ;) P
Guest Scarfman007 Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 Paul, did your beta version have all 3 snails races and all 10 levels? Also what about buying weapons (could you do it, or was it just a random selection based upon your wealth?) and playing Mission Mode? Just wondering why the released SPV version seems somewhat cut down... Cheers! Scarfman
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 My version has identical feature set to the release version... P
Guest Scarfman007 Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 Grr... I hope they release a better version! Not that this one is particularly bad- I just feel it could be better! Scarfman
Guest Gorskar Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 I still wonder why they decided to cut the release version down to only 5 levels. By the way: the Offical Snails website has now been updated to show the smartphone version, and if you click on "shop" it tells you: Differences: Includes 5 levels, 1 song, 2 races, no missions or TCP/IP multiplayer mode  shame. The TCP/IP mutiplayer mode would be especially nice.
Guest midnight Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 and why is the game the same price as the pocketpc version if its only half the game it used to be
