Guest Posted June 22, 2005 Report Posted June 22, 2005 Hi peops! I'm runnign a QTEK 8020, just updated to the latest 2.1.32.23 ROM, and I hoped this would fix my problem. My old 1.3 ROM had the same. When I sync my contacts to Outlook 2003 using ActiveSync, my contact get messed up. I live in the Netherlands, so most of my numbers start with +31. After syncing with outlook all leading +'s are missing. So all numbers are like 316xxxxxxxx without the +. Then after removing the phone from USB, and connecting it again, all contacts from outlook (without the +) are synced to the phone, and I have all contact doubled! One with +, one without. I tried setting up the country-code in both my phone as well as outlook but that didn't fix it (or I did something wrong). Any suggestions to this? Can't find anything about this on the web, but I can't imagine I am the only one with this problem...

Somewhere on Modaco is a piece of software called outlooktoolssetup.zip which corrects the problem I think. Try searching the site - the threads are quite old.
