Guest carphead Posted June 22, 2005 Report Posted June 22, 2005 It won't be obvious to most but to get to the LAN, Registry and FTP client type in the path \\\ You can short cut to each section so to FTP type in \\\FTP\ Or select the \\ Path in the root. I'm looking forward to some great plugins created for this. Over at www.totalcmd.net you can see what's been done with the PC version. Hopefully some of these might get ported.
Guest Pagemakers Posted June 22, 2005 Report Posted June 22, 2005 Have you tried to un-install this app. No matter what I do I can't get rid of it from my C500. It just says, unable to install. I've re-installed, stopped all programs and still it won't un-install ;)
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted June 23, 2005 Report Posted June 23, 2005 No problems with uninstall process. ;)
Guest Pagemakers Posted June 23, 2005 Report Posted June 23, 2005 Anyone else? I can't remove it al all ;)
Guest linkdead Posted June 23, 2005 Report Posted June 23, 2005 Anyone else? I can't remove it al all ;) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ahum, same problem, installed on qtek8010 wm2003se (storage card).
Guest linkdead Posted June 23, 2005 Report Posted June 23, 2005 Anyone else? I can't remove it al all ;) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Found a solution, remove it via activesync, worked for me. 8)
Guest Pagemakers Posted June 23, 2005 Report Posted June 23, 2005 Even if you re-install to the phone you can't un-install the damm thing!
Guest Pagemakers Posted June 23, 2005 Report Posted June 23, 2005 Found a solution, remove it via activesync, worked for me. 8) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just tried that and activesync does not remove my copy
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted June 23, 2005 Report Posted June 23, 2005 @Pagemakers Do you have an empty 'AppMgr' folder? \Storage\windows\AppMgr You should be able to see all your installed apps in that folder.
Guest Pagemakers Posted June 23, 2005 Report Posted June 23, 2005 It's exactly as you show in your screenshot. Inside that folder is a file called 2000.tmp
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted June 23, 2005 Report Posted June 23, 2005  Gee. I don't know what to say anymore. ;)
Guest linkdead Posted June 23, 2005 Report Posted June 23, 2005 It's exactly as you show in your screenshot. Inside that folder is a file called 2000.tmp <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How did you install it via PC .exe file or .cab file ? Reinstall via .exe file, place in "microsoft activesync" dir. Reboot phone after install reconnect to activesync and try uninstall from activesync. That's the only way to remove it for me qtek8010. goodluck.
Guest Pagemakers Posted June 23, 2005 Report Posted June 23, 2005 Just tried that with no joy. When I re-install the app it says it needs to un-install the previous version. Then it says "Can't un-install previous version". What a pile of junk.
Guest Pagemakers Posted June 23, 2005 Report Posted June 23, 2005 Thank God for Sprite Backup! The only way I could rid my phone of this software was to restore back to a previous date. Be warned!
Guest c0ntrite Posted June 25, 2005 Report Posted June 25, 2005 can't seem to find: "receive" by infrared... anybody?
