Guest travisb Posted June 22, 2005 Report Posted June 22, 2005 I have had (very briefly) a MDA III from T-Mobile. Great phone, great tariff, but absolutely zilch coverage where I live. Apparently they should have checked before I ordered. Anyway, contract cancelled, money back, and an M2000 from Orange has been ordered. One question. Was impressed that the MDA III came with both Fonix voice dialing and SPB GPRS monitoring software included. Are these included with the tangoed version?
Guest Pondrew Posted June 22, 2005 Report Posted June 22, 2005 Unfortunately I don't think either comes with the SPV M2000. I myself was impressed at the inclusion of those two apps on the T-Mobile cd...

Guest travisb Posted June 23, 2005 Report Posted June 23, 2005 i fink you only get wififofum, a wifi detection software. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Already got that. Amazing how many unsecure wireless networks there are about ;)
Guest ichilton Posted June 23, 2005 Report Posted June 23, 2005 Hi, I dont think I got any software on the cd with my M2000 - just the Orange apps like backup etc which are in the rom. Ian
Guest travisb Posted June 26, 2005 Report Posted June 26, 2005 Can confirm no extra software with the M2000 (not even WiFiFoFum), but then you do get 2 batteries, which you didn't with the MDA III. And I get a signal. Which is nice!
Guest Pondrew Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 ...And I get a signal. Which is nice! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Heh. That's exactly the reason I went the other way leaving Orange for T-Mobile!
