Wm2005 problems with Orange c500

Yesterday I installed wm2005 with mtty without any problems. First I simunlocked my new french 2003se rom then I downgraded my phone with an old Uk rom so I could install a new bootloader (1.01.0109) with wich i could install wm2005.

After installing wm2005 the next problems occur:

- After a long bootingprogress the next message appeared on the homescreen:

"there is a problem with device.exe", then the question appeared if I wanted microsoft contacted for this error (sort of debug?) in wich i answered "no". After I`ve pressed "no" the phone returned to the homescreen. The weird about the homescreen is that there is an "x"mark above the signalquality (so no signal) and there is an alertmark above the battery (the system seems to show that the battery is empty).

Except the startmenu the next things are working;

- Right button to contacts is working

- Camera button is working and is bringing me to the camera options

- Calender function is working

If I press the left softbutton (startmenu) again the same device.exe error occur. Even if I change the phone to airplanemode nothing will change!

I have the feelting that after flashing my phone two times the simlock turned on again.

I tried a few times to copy an old c500 rom on the sd disk with two different techniques: psdwrite & WinHex. Also I tried to downgrade my phone with the mtty tool wich gave me the next error:

The phone gave also errors with the sd-card technique:

Checksum error! (the progressbar is on that moment 50%).

The sdcard error also occured with trying to flash the phone with wm2005.

My question is now how I can get an downgrade install with 2003se or if I can get my phone yet simunlocked in wm2005 so i could use this OS (if the simlock is really the problem). I hope someone can help me so I don`t have to sent my phone to htc/dynafix.

your proberbly screwed, and will have to send the phone back to htc, but it will cost you as you voided the warretty by putting the wm5 rom on it

but thats what you get when you run dodgy roms on your phone
