Guest csmager Posted June 22, 2005 Report Posted June 22, 2005 I've had my c500 for about a week now. I sent a text message this morning fine. I come to send one now, make a mistake, hit back. Nothing happens. I try the main menu, press back to get to the home screen. Nothing happens. The back button appears to no longer function for reasons beyond me. I've tried turning it off and on again, and that didn't help. Does anyone have any suggestions before I ring Orange and admit defeat?
Guest Disco Stu Posted June 22, 2005 Report Posted June 22, 2005 A hard reset might fix it but as it's a known fault I should send it back.

Guest Disco Stu Posted June 22, 2005 Report Posted June 22, 2005 The most popular buttons are Back & 4. In my experience, as soon as you tell Orange they'll acknowledge this.

Guest csmager Posted June 22, 2005 Report Posted June 22, 2005 Thanks. I'll ring them now. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The woman I spoke to didn't seem to know it was a recognised fault, but she said that under the Sales of Goods Act, they are obliged to replace it with a brand new one free of charge in the first 28 days. I haven't even owned it 2 weeks yet, so they're sending me a new one for nowt. Hope it doesn't happen with the next one in such a short time frame...
