Guest Lojt Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 After turning it off i cant turn it back on.... keeps saying 'The radio could not be turned on. Try again? yes/no. A restart would prolly help, but is this a bug?
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 Well, it shouldn't do it :-) It's only really a bug if it can be re-created... P
Guest Lojt Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 What do you mean? It went back on after i restarted...
Guest TimG Posted December 18, 2002 Report Posted December 18, 2002 This is interesting - I have just got my phone and it says "Radio Off" where it initially said "Orange", and I can't make any calls. Where can I try to set the radio back on again?
Guest Treadsoftly Posted December 18, 2002 Report Posted December 18, 2002 You can switch radio back on and off via option 4 on the Quick List. Access the Quick List through pressingthe start button briefly - not so long as you switch it off. Option 4 toggles radio on and off, followed by the 'done' soft key
Guest TimG Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 Excellent! I've switched radio on and the phone works now! Orange support had just fobbed me off, saying that it would fix itself in a day or two, so thanks a million!
Guest Treadsoftly Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 no worries - glad I could help
Guest xanadu Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 is it FM radio ? is it free ? 'Radio' is the cellphone part of the SPV. It can be turned off, I guess to be Air travel friendly. It is called radio, because that is what a mobile phone is. It is a radio with some bits added on, to allow you to make phone calls.
Guest DJHope Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 its really funny how people keep thinking its an fm radio or sommit, nobody thinks of mobile phones as actually being mobile radios, spose the americans really brought it home their :D
Guest fcm Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 sorry! :D just havent had the time for experiencing the phone yet.. even though it's about a month old :(
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 Should now be fixed... and you should be able to log into MoDaCo with your details from this site? P
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 For some reason you are in the Mobiholics member DB, but not MoDaCo (which is theoretically impossible). Please sign up for a MoDaCo account with the same details you have registered here! P
