Which file is the contacts database file?

After I have done a hard-reset/app. unlock on the phone my contacts are (of course?) gone... but I have just copied all the files from the phone - as it was - over on my harddrive, I now need just to have the contacts back again - how can I do that?

I have to replace (I think) a specific file BEFORE the phone starts (just like when doing the reset) or ?

and where is the contacts file?

Please help.. I need the contacts and I'm really lost here!

Are you using ms outlook?

When I did the hard reset all my contacts uploaded straight away with no problems using activsync and outlook.

There should be a copy of outlook on your SPv installation cd.

I _think_ its "mxip_initdb.vol", which can be found in ISPM
