Guest alex_gregory_uk Posted June 23, 2005 Report Posted June 23, 2005 My c500 volume buttons are not working! They work if ya hold the button in it comes up with 'there is no trained tag' with the down button, and voice notes if you hold up in. But when you want to adjust the sound level it lights the screen up, but does nothing. Would strike me as a software issue. Any ideas? Or alternatively anyone know how to increase the volume through the registry as it is on really quiet at the moment. I just want to increase the volume. Cheers Alex

Guest Griff_FFOC Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 this happened to my also (i think i deleted some files) now when i press the button the sreens light up but the level doesn't increase ore decrease <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know this is an old thread, and I don't like dragging old threads back to life, but someone else might get this problem. I had this problem this afternoon whereby the volume buttons didn't work and instead just lit the screen up, proving that the button itself still worked. A backup, and hard rest soon sorted this problem out. So presume it was something I installed recetly. Which were some homescreens which changed all the startup, shutdown, volume control screens etc), rjtime, and smartmonitor plugin. My guess is it was not displaying the volume window after removing the homescreen. It might have been fixed by running the reg hack to restore the standard screens, but I wasn't at my PC to find out.
