WISH: Edit outlook tasks

Made a typo in a task? Wouldn't it be nice to be able to edit the task afterwards?

Have I missed something here? Is there alreadya way to do this that doesn't involve my PC with Outlook on it?

Thanks to T9 and a typo, I'm lumbered with the following task before Christmas: "Send wife my Christmas lips"

Frankly I am amazed that MS released the smartphone software without the ability to even view, let alone edit, the text under a task.

It is either an oversight or deliberately designed in obsolescence.

Everything else - email folders, calendaring, categories, etc - works to the nth degree.

Or am I missing something.

Absolutely. I cannot conceive of the conversation at Orange/MS that ended up with them saying something like, 'Ah, noone uses the Tasks much anyway do they? Nah...' Of all the stupid... Either do it properly or not at all. Going half way is just dumb and annoying
