Guest yatpeak Posted January 18, 2003 Report Posted January 18, 2003 I got a few songs in WMA format off a CD through Windows Media Player and then put them on an SD card to play on my SPV. But when I tried to open one up the following error message appeared: "The licence for this file cannot be found. Use Windows Media Player on your PC to copy the file to your device again." I can't do this because my phone doesn't have enough space. Should I convert them to MP3s? If anyone could provide me with some help it would be greatly appreciated.
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted January 18, 2003 Report Posted January 18, 2003 Did you have the "include license" option checked (i cant find its exact locaiton or name sorry :/) when you copied the music from the cd? If so you'll need to do them again without the option selected
Guest yatpeak Posted January 18, 2003 Report Posted January 18, 2003 Sorry, being ignorant, solved now.
