plz evrybody nebody! i need to know how to install the cingular 1.43 rom update.

i cant find a good solution nohwere.i try doin it with the upgrade wizard but still no go

i need help plz

in addition to that question...

i have the mpx220 rom version 1.30...if i update to rom 1.43 from the motorola website...is it cingular specific and will it void my warranty?? would like to know before i do anything ;)

Upgrading your phone to ROM released from motorola for Cingular phones does not void its warranty. 1.43 is cingular specific and was released for cingular users/phones bought in north america.

Excellent...thank you...the Motorla site does not mention that it's Cingular specific...just wanted to make sure!! :)

I have version 4.21.1088(build 14315.1.1.2)

Is this an old one or new one.

I don't see something that looks like 1.43

Type *#**837# And the green dial key and you will find the ROM version.
