Guest Snoopstah Posted June 23, 2005 Report Posted June 23, 2005 Hey guys, My C500 seems to have got into the habit of stopping communicating with the Orange network. However, it looks like it's working fine - i.e. I have a phone that says it has reception, but any attempt to make (or more importantly, receive) calls fails - the caller gets diverted straight to my answering machine, and calling out results in silence. A reboot fixes it immediately, but it's very frustrating as there is no way of determining if the phone is actually working or if it has 'crashed'! Any ideas?
Guest Transform Posted June 23, 2005 Report Posted June 23, 2005 maybe a hard reset will fix the problem?
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted June 23, 2005 Report Posted June 23, 2005 Could be a network problem, I had this happen to me on Sunday and as you did a reboot fixed the problem. I did recieve a SIM update the other day so it could be related to that.

Perhaps they're upgrading their towers or something and this is just shot term. But maybe even a hard reset may fix it
