Calls not working

Hi guy this is the deal, i have a mda compact, aint changed to rom or anything, and today out of the blue, seems that call are not working.. i can recive and make calls, just cant here anything.. the call is connected but nothing.. the person on the other line cant hear me either

so i am guessing something to do with the mic and speaker.. and a hard reset will solve it..

3 hard resets later.....nothing.. still doesn't work...

any ideas?

Does the speaker on the back work for playing music?

If not, the audio daughter board may have failed. The speaker on the back of my mini failed, and in the repair log it said they replaced the audio daughterboard and the speaker. My mic and phone earpiece was fine. so was the headphones. Try both the headphones and the back speaker by playing some music.

Had a feeling something like that must have blown.. anyway i let the phone over night.. took the battery out. I put the battery back this morning and see if works again... and guess what? it does....pretty strange..

will see if it happens again.. if it does then off to T-mobile it goes..

I had a similar problem, when using it as an MP3 player the first time.

The headphone adaptor had kept the "insides depressed", so it thought there were phones attached.

I put it back it, wiggled it, and removed it - all OK then. Only happened the once.

Well i guess may close this topic. Phone works amazing now,

upgraded rom,

big storage - which i believe is a must have.. oh the space........lol..

BT is an improvement

Call quality is improved

Camera quality is improved too..

Overall i am 100% satisfied with my Jam now..
