SPV says I have 6 SMS messages when I have none!

Hi,

About a month ago, my SPV said I had an SMS, but when I checked my inbox, there were no new messages. This was the case even if I reset the phone. Then, a bit later, it said I had 2 when I had none. This has increased so that it now says I have 6 texts. When I actually have a new text, it says I have 7!

I've phoned Orange who have sent Sim-updates which made no difference. Has anyone else had this problem? Anyone any ideas how to fix it?

First off i'm guessing you've tried checking through all messages for any unread ones at the bottom of your inbox.

Other than that you could try an import from sim and see if its picked up on any there, some do spontaniously get sent to the sim and not to your inbox

delete the last one you got.... thats what i did... the counter went back to zero.. i think its just not that good at updating
