Access SmartPhone profile information

Hi All,

I would like to access current telephone profile information (Normal, Silent, Car...) from my application, running on SPV. I did not managed to find any API calls to access profile information.

Have you any idea is it possible or such API calls are closed for third-part developers?

As far as I remember - Nokia, the main MS competitor, have closed this API in Symbian Series 60 phones due, as they say ;)) , some security issue.

Could you modifiy the profile xml files directly? They're all stored in IPSMApplication DataProfiles.prof.xml. It wouldn't be particularly easy, but probably possible; depends what you wanted to do with them.
