Gmail on a SPV c500

I've been trying to set up my gmail email account on my c500. I've added all the correct information for pop, smtp and ticked the "require authentication" for both in and out.

When i try and access my account i need to type in my password. After i've done that and pressed "ok" it connects for a while, but then im back to the logon screen where I have to input my password.

Any ideas?

Have you told it to use SSL connection?

I presume you have POP enabled in your Gmail settings?
