*.prof.xml files locked in latest ROM version

Have currently got the French upgrade ROM installed on my C500.

I've been able to change the \Storage\Application Data\Profiles\*.prof.xml files in previous rom versions. This means I don't need to keep removing the 'w3' from the ringtone settings in the registry.

Whenever I try and copy the xml files over to my PC it says 'Cannot copy xxxxxx: Access is denied'. It does this from a fresh boot of the phone.

Does anyone know anything I should be checking for or changing on the phone to allow these to be copied (and eventually overwritten) ?

I've got the same problem on my o2 XPhoneIIm. Anybody got any idea how to change these?
