Where to store files ?

Hi !! Probably an absurd question for majority of you all !!!

I recently downloaded a " Home Screen" from the site and it had *.xml andother files.

My question is that where do these file go ??? Where do I store them so that they can be installed !!

Same thing about Binary Task Manager also ?? Where do I copy the Files ??

PLease HElP and suggest !!!!
