Guest badsworth Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 I have stored an important .xls file on my Orange SPV C500 phone. It has been converted to .pxl , which I gues is Pocket Excel. When I try to open it the phone asks me which programme I want to associate the file with. None of the offered suggestions (all .exe files) refers to spreadsheets. Can anyone advise me? How do I open my file please? Badsworth
Guest Disco Stu Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 Welcome to the forum :) There is no preinstalled spreadsheet application on your phone. There is a third-party solution however; have a read of this thread : http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=...&hl=spreadsheet

But if, as I suspect, you now have a Pocket Excel file, the problem is that the SmartPhone DEOSN'T have Pocket Excel built in. Only Pocket PC devices have Pocket Excel... So it sounds like the file you have, is one designed for the Pocket PC.
