Orange settings application

When I applied the ROM upgrade from the Orange site I noticed that, after the hard reset, it ran an application to set up the Orange specific settings on the phone.

I was wondering if it was possible to unbundle this and then run it on top of a ROM update for anothe provider so that I did not have to set them all up manually.

Anybody managed to do this?

I think it is in the extended ROM but I don't know how to look in that.

PS this is on an M2000

Or has anybody got a list of all the settings you need to record before applying a different ROM

Are we talking email & GPRS etc ?

You can usually get the settings sent OTA from the Orange website but, if not, try the Settings Repository on this forum.

Yes, it is all the orange specific settings, but I have not spotted them on here yet, I will have a look for them.

Just be aware that the Orange MMS port is no longer 8080 but 9201.

Anyways, this cab installs all the connections for orange if you're on contract and not payg.

Worked fine on my i-mate jam - hope its ok to post this here :shock:
