SMS Problem

Hi,

My M2000 hard reset on me today - luckily i had a backup, however:

In my text message folder it say i have 4 unread messages in deleted and 3 in drafts - when i navigate to these folders they are not there!!

I have tried to clear the texts and delete them - but nothing works.

Any idea where they are stored or how i can reset the counters etc.

Any help appreciated.

Hi,

Have solved it, but its solution is an important point for other users.

The problem was I restored from a backup created with Sprite backup software.

If you have this and you need to do a restore - do not restore the email branch. i.e uncheck the MMS, SMS ActivSync and any other email dBs.

I have read Sprite are working on a fix, but for now if you do restore these dBs, it will corrupt your messaging dB's.

Hope this helps someone else.
