Hi,

I have downloadet an animated homescreen and placed the file on my storage card, but when I run the .exe file on my spv c500, I get the following message: This is not a verified windows CE - program.

What do I do wrong?

Can you tell me which homescreen you are trying to install and where you got it from.

A link would be perfect.

Sounds like you may be trying to install a theme for Pocket PCs but let's see.

Hi again,

The homescreen is "GPC Starwars 3" made by Pzee.

I found it in Modaco>downloads>smartphone>homescreens>animated

Just now I noticed something about Ruttensoft Homescreen Designer in top of the page. Do I need this program?

In order to get this homescreen to work, you'll need the moving background plug-in from "Madbeetle". Just had a look over their website (madbeetle.com) but it's not listed anymore so I guess they don't sell it anymore.

If anyone else knows different (and knows how much Madbeetle are charging for it - was about £2 last I heard I think), please let us know! :)

Some of the animated homescreens will only work on application un-locked devices even if you have the plug-in. You don't need the Ruttensoft Homescreen Designer to install homescreens. :)
