Guest agdmwilson Posted June 29, 2005 Report Posted June 29, 2005 I need a bit of help with my phone memory. I am not sure if I have the correct amont of available memory to run the programs I have downloaded as it seems to "think" for a long time and occasionally crashes. I want to run CoPilot, Papyrus and sadly Lemmings, and have downloaded them all into phone storage. The maps for CoPilot are on a 512MB mini SD. My About screen reads as follows: Available storage 17MB Total storage 27MB Available memory 7MB Total memory 21MB Do these amounts seem OK for normal use of the above programs or should I be trying to get more usable memory to speed things up. (not sure how long a copilot search should take but sometimes up to 30 secs to search for an address) Thanks.
Guest Confused Stu Posted June 29, 2005 Report Posted June 29, 2005 Those figures are pretty much what mine show up as, and my phones quite a healthy little boy - although he has got a LOT of stuff installed on his memory card. I've purposely not got anything installed in Storage, it's all on the card, and even those figures are the same as yours. Never used copilot, so can't comment on that, but your memory looks fine my friend. :)
