Guest chucky.egg Posted June 29, 2005 Report Posted June 29, 2005 I struggled to get the correct time the other day because the UK Speaking Clock is 123, but 123 on the Orange network is your voicemail. But, for me, an updated mGALSync would be more appreciated. Are there plans to allow a variable Category to be used (e.g. the value from the current Contact's Office field, or something), because that would make it very useful.
Guest cr0bar Posted June 30, 2005 Report Posted June 30, 2005 Maybe i'm wrong but doesn't Windows XP autosync the clock with the time server, then when you hook up your Windows Mobile/Pocket device to your pc, activesync does the time too?
Guest chucky.egg Posted June 30, 2005 Report Posted June 30, 2005 That's true, but assumes that you have a Time Server setup and that you're sync'ing regularly Some of our systems need to have extremely accurate time settings (1 min is too much) so having constantly up-to-date time on your phone is useful. There are other ways of course. Somebody makes WaveCeptor watches that are sync'd with atomic clocks...
