Guest matt1971 Posted June 30, 2005 Report Posted June 30, 2005 Hi, After many wrong orders to purchase a correct polarity 3.5mm headphone adaptor, I finally received the PPCTECHS adaptor16. I can now plug my headphones in and listen to music perfectly - in BOTH ears. However, I have some questions about receiving/making a call. On the adaptor are two sockets one for headphones and one for a headset, there is also a little button that I assume answers a call. There is also a little grill that looks like a microphone. With the adaptor plugged in, the mic on the m2000 is disabled – so does anyone know how I can get the little mic on the adaptor to work? Or do I need to use a headset connected to the headset connection? I tried making a call but the mic did not work. Thanks in advance. Matt

Matt <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why would you be wanting to use standard headphones with a microphone? when the ones shipped with the Blue Angel, have a Mic and work stereo, seems pointless to have bought the adaptor to have music in both ya ears n then want to jus do what the standard supplied in box headset does *-) or maybe i've missed something as the bit about "the little mic on the adaptor" ?? if thats in the end of the phone where the headset jack is then its not very hands free which also defeats the object of having handsfree, could you explain please or show a link to a picture of this adaptor http://www.expansys.com.cy/i/b/b104840.jpg found this one, which states that the lil button is for muting however that may be a different adaptor to the one you have.
