Windows default sound wont stop 5600

Ok so i have had my smt 5600 for a few days now and recently it has started playing the "windows defult" little tune when i confirm options and some other random times when I click on things..its VERY VERY VERY annoying and i'm going to shoot myself if i have to keep hearing it. I have looked in sounds, profiles and tried diffrent themes and it keeps playing the sound. Only way i can stop it is to have my phone on silent.....not really an option lol if anyone can help me please do before i go nutz
