Guest JonB Posted July 1, 2005 Report Posted July 1, 2005 Anyone know how to stop the C500 from making that loud bell-like noise when you press and hold the # key to get the symbol page up when editing a text message. I can't find a setting for this anywhere and it doesn't seem possible to let go of the key before it starts making the noise. cheers Jon

Guest JonB Posted July 1, 2005 Report Posted July 1, 2005 my thought as well, unfortunately it doesn't appear as a setting in there....
Guest Disco Stu Posted July 1, 2005 Report Posted July 1, 2005 This tweak is possibly incorporated into some other software, but Moo_Ski_Doo was the first to solve the problem : http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=...hl=replacesound The easiest way though is to edit your profiles as suggested above. What you need to do is set System Sound Volume to Off.

Guest JonB Posted July 2, 2005 Report Posted July 2, 2005 I get what you mean now - yes if I turn the system sound down to zero then it isn't a problem, but I was hoping there might be a way to change the sound associated with that action by itself. Is there a ROM update available to 4.2.1.1 then - mine reports 4.1.1.4? cheers Jon
