Help plz cannot partnership phone and Pc?

I have tried several times and different methods and still cant get a mobile partnership with the PC. It say's winsock device error. Any ideas?

What version of Activsync are you using?

Also did you connect the phone to the PC before installing Activsync? if so this can also cause problems.

V3.6 and i don't connect before install of AS. I tried it on my friends PC and it is ok but can't keep using it.

Well you definitely need to get the latest public version, 3.8 from MSDN :

make sure you remove the phone then uninstall and reinstall again.
