Active Sync hangs when syncing email

My Activesync was working fine at work, but some reason it was sending my Outlook email to a Folder called Personal Mail, rather than Outlook Email. Being the brain surgeon I am, I deleted the Personal Mail folder, hoping it would go to the Outlook email folder that was sitting there unused. Now when I attemp to sync, it pukes because it isn't finding that folder. if I tell it not to sync email, everythign is fine. Questions is how do I fix this without doing a hard reset on the phone?
