Hello,

Going on hols in a couple of weeks, so I am trying to set up the USB GPRS modem on my laptop. Used it last year, but i've changed my laptop since then.

Following one of the articles on here, I've tried to add new hardware, and selected the usbmdm.inf file. When i select it however, the list of devices available from the file is blank. Have tried from the CD and some drivers I got off the internet.

The laptop is Windows XP with SP2 - has anyone got any ideas?

did you changed mobile company as well with your new laptop?

I had similar problems when I was trying to connect my pda via bluetooth, and amazingly I could not connect to my ISP with my old mobile company but I can now!

Hello.

No, still with Orange.

It's the adding the driver that doesn't work though - not getting anywhere near the bit where I make the connection to Orange.
