Guest ZSX Posted July 3, 2005 Report Posted July 3, 2005 (edited) Hi! I have recently purchased a second hand MPx200 which I thoroughly enjoy. However, I really hate the Orange branding and am in the process of removing all vestiges of it. There are only two things which seem quite stubborn. 1) When you dial a number there is an orange strip with the word Orange in it, between the status bar at the top and the number bar. I can find the image where this is stored, but I really want to display my own graphic instead. Does anyone know if and how this can be modified in the registry? 2) On my Programs screen menu I have an entry for "Orange Plus" which I simply cannot get rid of. It does not appear in the \IPSM\Windows\Start Up menu. How do I get rid of it? Hope you can help! Edit: Don't bother, I found the registry keys in the smartphone forum. Phone now debranded. Guest Fredde87 Posted July 5, 2005 Report Posted July 5, 2005 you could just install a nonbranded rom otherwise to be 100% brand free...
Guest Fredde87 Posted July 7, 2005 Report Posted July 7, 2005 of course I am assuming he has access to legal roms from his work (motorola employee maybe?)... :)
