Help! My MPX lost all "text writing" abilities.

Last November, I bought an MPx200 off of Gryphon on the MPx200 forums. Everything has been great until recently.

About a week ago many of my phone calls weren't coming through. I had Novosec's Smart Filter installed and it was taking everyone immediately to a VM. At first, I decided to re-install WM2003 to find out that it STILL didn't work. (The funny thing was is that it kept all of my previous settings and programs but removed all of the AT&T bullshit). All of SmartFilter's settings weren't changed, so I resorted to uninstalling the program entirely and it worked! I was properly recieving phone calls w/o going straight to the voicemail.

2 days ago, I wanted to add a contact to my Contacts, and I couldn't ADD any text to any text field. I couldn't press * to get the multiple views for text such as ABC, Abc, abc, 123 etc. But it doesn't allow any change. It ONLY accepts numbers even in text field.

So, I tried going into Internet Explorer and in SMS text messaging to find that I still couldn't type any text, just numbers.

Anyone have any ideas what I could do? I would love to completely erase my WM2003 and do a fresh install without any previous data on it but I don't know how. Please help me.

I would do a Master Reset, to do this power off the phone then press and hold the blue button and press the power button.

As soo and the phone starts to power on let go of both buttons and you will see the Master Boot screen. Select YES and the phone will reset itself back toit's default setings.

This will wipe all the data so you will need to re-enter your contacts and apps again.
