Guest Rex Orbis2 Posted July 5, 2005 Report Posted July 5, 2005 Any time I go to access the internet or anything else requiring data, a little "g" replaces my antenna icon, which obviously tells me data packets are being transmitted. However, even when I get out of IE, the "g" is still there and I can't place an outgoing call. Is there a way to stop transmission short of turning it off?
Guest Madeye Posted July 5, 2005 Report Posted July 5, 2005 Hold the home key (looks like a little house) until the quicklist appears then click disconnect GPRS...
Guest Rex Orbis2 Posted July 5, 2005 Report Posted July 5, 2005 Holding my home key just brings up IE, and if its not open it opens it.
Guest john1lai Posted July 25, 2005 Report Posted July 25, 2005 (edited) Holding my home key just brings up IE, and if its not open it opens it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hold down the red End Call key and that should get rid of GPRS next to the antenna icon on SMT5600s. Worked for mine. Cheers, John Edited July 25, 2005 by john1lai
