Pocket PC changover

i just bought my first pockt pc, i expected it to be pretty much the same as my C500... obviously now i know it's not. is there anything like the "first 48 hours with a smartphone" that is available for the C500? i've serched modaco and google with no luck...

if not, does anyone have any suggestions of the best things do do when you're starting out? cool apps, customisation how to's etc...

a lot of what i've read on here covers problems but i want to know if there's anything really cool that i shouldn't miss out on....

Try this for starters :

Go to Handango, PocketGear, ClickGamer etc for software.

Also just put 'Pocket PC' and 'software' into Google for plenty of alternatives. There is a lot of freeware out there that is easily found.

For themes, look for my beauties in the PPC PE Customisation section here :D

PDAGold, Pocket PC Themes, Pocket MCDeb, PocketThemes, ThemesPocket etc you get the idea all have news & customisation for gratis.

PocketPCmag.com is a good site too.

Cases & headphones & storage cards from the usual places.

There are 'First 48 Hours' guides out there but a smart lad like yourself will have more fun finding things out for yourself. And you can always ask questions on MoDaCo.

ok... this is cool, i have never come across this in 6 months on modaco...

most of the other places i've already been to, i think i just needed to make a PPC post to get my own arse in gear, so far it seems i've done nothing but look at the device. it's pretty but i need to do something with it!! :)
