Formatting MDA Compact

Could someone lemme know how to format my mda compact, I can't seem to find out how this is done.

I want to start fresh as I've got some kind of error which I just can't get rid of.

Press and hold the power button and then use the stylus to press the soft reset button at the same time. The latter is the tiny hole on the bottom of the device on the far right.

Make sure you've backed up your Contacts etc
