Guest Magnetic_dud Posted July 7, 2005 Report Posted July 7, 2005 Sometimes, I write a 150 char sms, and my phone sends 3 sms! The receiver receives: -if phone is old: 3 sms, 2 of them are not readable. -if phone is new: 2 sms And then: When I insert the euro logo, or èéòà^ùìÈ etc..., the counter read it like only one character, while on other standard phones, it's counted twice. To be more clear: usually the € occupies 2 chars, because the first standard heven't this code. Now it occupies only one char? Microsoft reinvented the ucs standard?
