Differences between wap and web apn

My network gave me 2 gprs apn:

a wap apn

a web apn

the wap apn is 20 times more expensive than the web.

my question is:

if i have to retrieve a *.wml file, why i have to use the wap apn? the network will block all *.wml downloads?

if i use the web apn, i can navigate through the wap page?

and pie is wap-compatible?

i was clear?

The internet connection (WEB APN) should allow you to access ANY internet pages so it doesn't matter if they are are WML or HTML coded as long your phone contains compatible browsers. If the web APN costs less per KB than the WAP APN then I would use the WEB APN for all data transfer :)

What he's getting at is that his operator has blocked wml files on the web apn, forcing him to pay more for the wml pages...

today i tried to connect to wap.wind.it and it says: connection was refused.

they want my money :)
