Hi All,

I have tried to use the Always on Mail now called SEVEN Mail

It seems to work absoultely brilliantly for a few weeks then crash and is a nightmare to get going again, unfortunately for me, It wont work at all anymore, keep getting unhandled errors, application closing.

So my question for everyone (unless you know how to fix this) is are there any other applications out there that really do work for email push.

im using AOL email and like I say everything was fine until I got this unexplained error, If I can find an alternative I will be demanding my money back for the software and buying something else

Please Help

A very frustrated email user

I've been using it for months now and it seems fine to me.

Have you installed anything else since you installed it?

The only annoying thing is when your power settings switch the PDA off and alwaysonmail is working. It pauses until you switch the unit back on, so it can take a few seconds to re-connect to their server.

I have to say that it's been brilliant. I've used it on a C500 in beta and now my M2000. It's v economical with file sizes and no messing around configuring pop settings. Works like a charm on WIFI too.

I suggest you re-install the client, then re-activate it. Smartner support are pretty good at getting back to you on email too.

The software worked absolutely brilliantly for a few weeks then with no reason just started giving me an unhandled exception error application will close, and that was it, all i could do was uninstall and reinstall it, i did this about 7 or 8 times before it would work properly without this error.

Now it doesnt seem to work reliably, and keeps giving me a Server connect error(124)

Like I say when its working its brilliant.

Before anyone says anything, after my first error message and reinstall with no improvement I did a hard reset and installed only this software, it worked great so i installed everything else on a daily basis all without problem, then used the device for 2 weeks without problems, until tuesday this week, when everything started again.

Me and my big mouth..

I installed the new seven client tonight and have not got it working. For some reason it screwed up my GPRS settings too. I can browse the web, surf and use the normal pop inbox, but it won't let me register the new client and activate it.

I should have left alone. Now it's not working at all!

On occasion the alwayson servers go mental, so it could be this. Also Orange must have been hit pretty hard today with the London issues.

perhaps tomorrow it will work :)
