ActiveSync problems

Hi all -

I'm having real problems getting my C500 to activeSync - It doesn't connect with my phone.

I am running Win XP OS, and have not had probs witht he E200, E100 or original flava SPV. I have now loaded 3.8 from the microsoft microsite, but it makes not a jot of difference.

Windows recognises when the phone is connected, ActivSync launches but then doesn't connect. The 'Connection Wizard' then launches, whihc also refuses to find the SPV C500. The phone happily charges via the USB connection, but will not transfer data in either direction. ActiveSync just greys out in theQuick-Launch Bar - I cannot access options menus or anything else...

Can anyone help me out? Re-installing ActiveSync has not helped.
