Guest simpled Posted July 7, 2005 Report Posted July 7, 2005 Does anyone know any apps that can detect bluetooth proximity like FMA (Float's mobile agent) for Sony Ericsson phones? I used to have a T630 and whenever I come home from work it would connect to the bluetooth on my desktop even before I got in my door. It would be nice to automatically connect to ActiveSync whenever I am in range. Isn't this simple? BTAutoSync would probably work but it works but polling for bluetooth devices every certain amount of interval, not actually "detecting" it... wouldn't that kill your battery life? It would be better to initiate the detection from the PC right...

Guest SilentlyScreaming Posted September 4, 2005 Report Posted September 4, 2005 Don't know which BT dongle you have for PC, but I've used TDK's Bluealert software. Don't know if it checks the brand of adapter etc., but worht a look at.
