Hi guys,

I have bought QTEK8080 and received it on July 5.

Strange and very annoying problem occured on my 8080.

I just tried to set Dialup connection to use WAP service from my Danish network,TDC.

I set the username "tdc" and password "waptdc" as instrudted by TDC and pushed "Done". When I went to the setting again, dialup password was changed. It was 16letters. I correct it to 5digits password many times, but everytime after pushing "Done" it was changed.

Of cource, I can't connect to WAP service yet.

I tried nearly everything, power off/on, hard reset, rom upgrade using the file from QTEK SE sebsite, hard reset after rom upgrade....didn't help.

I believe this is critical software bug or something.

Are there anyone who has same experience or who knows how to fix it?

Thanks!!!

I have the same problem. I am using windows-XP

Using a password revealer program I found that something changed my dial up password to the words

Dial-up settings

Every time I tried to correct it to my correct password something changes it back to the words Dial-up settings.

If anyone has a solution please email me at [email protected].

I have to use the computer at the public library until this is solved.
