Guest stevepuri Posted July 8, 2005 Report Posted July 8, 2005 When closing applications such as Pocket Word, Excel and IE etc... If you go to the "Running Programs" tab in the "Memory" settings, you will find that these applications are still running. Is there a way to stop them running when I tap the close(X) in the top-right corner ? Device: SPV-M500 OS: Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition. Thank you, Steve.

Thank you, Steve. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This is the standard design rules of windows mobile. MS say they want it this way so windows can control its memory management. When memory gets too full it starts closing down application automatically. Personally I close them down as I go. Try this little program it might help Running_Programs.cab
Guest scottb Posted July 10, 2005 Report Posted July 10, 2005 You can also close applications from the Memory selection in Control Panel.
