usb activesync not recognizing

so, last night i was thrilled because i got my bluetooth activesync to work. now, i turn my computer on and bluetooth and usb don't work. i'm not really all that concerned about the bluetooth, but when i plug the usb in, i get a usb device not recognized error, and the phone doesn't charge from the usb

Try reinstalling Active Sync ,if it doesn't work check the status of your USB drivers .

Sounds stupid, but this happens with me a few times when I swap between syncing by USB and BT. In every case I've found switching off BOTH phone and PC and then restarting both worked every time. Weird, I know!
